Fenton Interiors, LLC, is a locally owned and operated custom woodworking business in Collinsville, CT. Our team of craftsmen specialize in making custom cabinetry using time-honored techniques. Each piece is designed and built from scratch giving the customer a one of kind kitchen, vanity, built-in or free-standing unit. Our approach is simple: create heirloom quality cabinets that withstand the rigors of 21st century families and use, one project at a time, with unparalleled attention to detail.

We do everything from start to finish. We sit down with each customer to understand their needs. Then we create a design based on the details. We construct, finish and install all of our work. We are with you each step of the way ensuring that their are no details left unnoticed.

Details of construction:

Our cabinets are made with the highest quality materials available. Since our cabinetry carries a lifetime guarantee we do not sacrifice quality for speed. For stability and rigid construction, all of our doors (full mortise & tenon joinery) and face frames are made 1" thick. All drawers are dovetailed and constructed of 7/8" fronts, 1/2" sides and 1/2" plywood bottoms. Our cabinet carcasses/boxes are constructed of 3/4" plywood sides and bottoms with full 1/2" backs.

Traditionally, we build our cabinets with inset doors and drawers, but would also construct overlay cabinets. Our drawers are installed by either building custom wood slides or by using self-closing slides. For a custom look, it's nice to have both. Use the wood slides on small drawers and self-closing on the larger ones. That is the beauty of custom cabinets, made the way you like.

Our finishes again are custom. We use hand applied techniques to deliver the best finish possible. Natural, stained or painted, whatever style or finish you prefer it is approached with the same attention to details as our construction. Also, ask us how we can build your cabinets from a "green" perspective by using sustainable forested materials and low voc or no voc finishes. We can deliver an environmentally friendly product.
